HANDGUN RANGE
We offer 3 handgun ranges. Ranges are marked off at 5,10,15,20, and 25 yards. Ranges have shelters with covered roofs and a concrete floor. They also offer a bench to shoot from and places to sit when you are not shooting.
There is a shotgun backer board on the Lower Pistol Range.
There is also a building that is accessible to take shelter in when it's cold or raining.
Handgun range hours: Saturday and Sunday 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. or dark
Rules for handgun Lower Pistol Range
No shooting glass or steel targets
Permissible firearms are: Handguns, Rimfire Rifles and Rifles chambered for pistol cartridges. Shotguns, use railroad tie backer board.
Full-auto firing is NOT permitted.
Rules for handgun Middle Pistol Range
No shooting glass or steel targets.
Full-auto firing is NOT permitted
Permissible firearms are: Handguns, Rimfire Rifles, or Rifles chambered for pistol cartridges (No Center-fire Rifles or Shotguns).
Rules for handgun Upper Pistol Range
Steel targets are limited to those targets provided by MCGC.
Permissible firearms are: Handguns or Rimfire Rifles and Rifles chambered for pistol cartridges. (No Center-fire Rifles or Shotguns). Full-auto firing is allowed on this pistol range only (pistol cartridges). No glass targets are allowed.
